Chevrolet GMC Silverado 5.7 V8 “Step- Side” 4×4 Truck - This very rare to find in this spec, 1991 Chevrolet Silverado “Short Bed, Step-Side” truck is equipped with a potent 5.7 Litre V8 Petrol engine! “Ye-har” as our cousins over the pond would say!! But best of all it is also the 4 wheel drive version so with all that power going through GM’s bullet proof Automatic gearbox and 4 wheel drive system, straight onto the ground, this truck is not for the feint hearted! Its vendor does however say that with a lighter foot on the pedal, it is surprisingly good on fuel and docile in everyday use, he regularly loads up the back for tip runs etc.Being such a high spec truck it comes with all the creature comforts of a luxury car, electric windows, central locking, power steering, air conditioning and cruise control to name a few, all of which function as designed. The seats are in a more luxurious cloth than the lower spec trucks in the range and have proved to be very comfortable on the longer journeys. All of the interior is in very good order.Body work is very good with just one small crack on the l/h rear bumper capping and has some nice touches throughout. General mechanics are very good as are the external electrics on the outside of the truck. The engine is superb, starting instantly and soon settling into a quiet but meaningful throb. On the road it pulls cleanly through the rev range and the automatic gearbox changes smoothly , brakes are very good and the exhaust note, although definitely allowing the truck that um-mistakable V8 noise, is not to obtrusive. All in all a very tidy truck in a rare configuration that needs nothing and can be a stylish load -lugger or a show truck, the choice is yours? Supplied with a current MOT so ready to go
