An extremely fine and detailed flying scale model, the doped fabric covered wooden airframe with flying and control wires, four ailerons, elevators and rudder, the pilots cockpit with well detailed instrumentation and armament, the rear observer's/gunner's station with model Lewis gun, a scarf ring, map pockets, windshield and seat, the engine-turned aluminium engine cowling with spring-loaded access doors enclosing a well modelled dummy 9-cylinder rotary engine coupled to a two bladed wood propeller, with bungee-sprung main undercarriage, the two wheels with dummy canvas wheel-spoke shield discs, on hard rubber tyres, painted in the markings of Escadrille Sop226 of 1917, 91 in (231 cm) wingspan. A fine flying scale model of Nieuport 17 N 1895, with fabric and dummy engine-turned aluminium covered airframe, ailerons, elevators, rudder, control wires, bracing wires and vee-struts, the red painted cowling enclosing a glow plug engine with 24' (61 cm) dia. propeller, finished in silver with French national markings, 90' (128 cm) wingspan. A fine and well constructed flying scale model of Fairey Swordfish K5949, the doped fabric covered wood airframe with ailerons, elevatiors and rudder, flying and control wires, dummy radial engine with propeller, instrument panel, rear cockpit machine gun, the underside of the fuselage mounted with an underslung torpedo, rubber tyred fully sprung main wheels and tail wheel interconnected to the rudder, the wing correctly folding for carrier hanger storage, 75.5 in (192 cm) wingspan Note: This model represents an aircraft as flown from H.M.S.
