D*Face (B. 1978)Spoiled Brat, 2014 1978 Yamaha SR500Constructed in 2014, this classic Japanese 'thumper' has been de-tabbed and de-lugged, and has a hooped frame. The engine has been fitted with an 88mm Wiseco high-compression (10:1) piston, a high-lift camshaft, Mikuni TM40 carburettor and a modified inlet manifold. Controls have been up-rated with a quick-action throttle, Nissin radial master cylinder, and Pazzo raving levers. Other noteworthy features include a bespoke wiring loom, hand-made leather seat, one-off hand-painted tank and sunken taillight, not to mention lots of polished hand-made parts.
