Nathaniel Mills - an early Victorian castle top card case, die stamped in relief with a view of Abbotsford, with a pre-Civil War view of Kenilwoth Castle to verso, within engine turned chequered borders, the hinged cover with vacant cartouche, suspension chain, 8.5cm long Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham 1844 Abbotsford, was the home of novelist Sir Walter Scott, Bt., and the verso with a reconstruction of the pre-Civil War appearance of Kenilworth Caste, Warw., prominent as the subject of one of Scott's novels. Therefore a Sir Walter Scott souvenir.
