Wallace & Gromit - Aardman Animations - original Austin A35 ' Top Bun ' replica promotional van which was used as part of the official Cheese Fest UK, celebrating 30 years of Wallace and Gromit. The van - a 1963 Austin A35 (Reg; AEH 467A) was commissioned by Aardman Animations and created by One World Creative. The van comes in full ' Matter Of Loaf And Death ' livery with sign writing to each side ' Top Bun - Wallace & Gromit's Bakery '. Painted in a custom two-tone green and cream livery, with fake 'rust' decals in place. The van appears to be complete, including it's original 1098cc engine, all chrome work, the original Austin bonnet mascot, grille, and other items. The van remains drivable, but would require some restoration to make roadworthy. As a prop, this van toured the UK in early 2019 with Cheese Fest UK and appeared in lots of photographs, and gained a wealth of publicity from the various events. A large file of paperwork comes with the van, including MOT's and receipts - some dating back to the mid 1990's. Older style V5C present. A fabulous piece of Wallace & Gromit memorabilia, and an iconic piece of British motoring history. NOTE: Buyers are reminded that this vehicle was designed as a promotional prop display only, and no warranties or guarantees as to mechanical worthiness are implied nor given. This vehicle requires restoration to make it roadworthy, although it does run and can be driven on to trailers etc. Buyers are politely reminded to satisfy themselves as to specific condition prior to bidding, irrespective of any description and requesting a condition report via telephone is advised.
