An original Triang Hornby 00 gauge model railway train set locomotive Blue Pullman comprising of a R555 Diesel Pullman Motor Car Type 2 Blue Livery,R426 Pullman Parlour Car Type 6 Blue with seats and a R556 Diesel Pulman Motor Car Type 2 Non Powered. Blue with seats. All contained within the original boxes. Engine in working condition. Good collection.
HE 5636 1959 ex D2587 Worksplate THE HUNSLET ENGINE CO LTD LEEDS 204 HP No5636 1959 ex British Railways Class 05 0-6-0 Diesel Shunter numbered D2587. Allocated new to 56A Knottingley and withdrawn in December 1967 from 62C Dunfermline Townhill and rebuilt by Hunslet in 1969 as works No 7180. It is now preserved. Oval cast brass measuring 11.5in x 8.25in. In as removed condition.

All ex 0-6-0 Diesel Mechanical locomotive used at Appleby Frodingham Steel Works.
Herbert + Worksplate Avonside 1950 1924 Nameplate HERBERT together wits its matching worksplate AVONSIDE ENGINE Co LTD BRISTOL BUILT 1924 ENGINE no 1950. Ex 0-6-0ST with outside cylinders built to order 6005 and delivered new to Doncaster Amalgamated Collieries Ltd, Markham Main Colliery where it was named HERBERT, taken into NCB stock in January 1947 and transferred to Rossington Main Colliery in 1960 and finally scrapped in 1963. Nameplate is cast brass in as removed condition measures 33in x 6.25in and oval cast brass worksplate is face cleaned and measure 11in x 6.5in. A nice set complete with a couple of photographs of the locomotive.

Models appear to be in Mint condition in Good - Mint boxes with some storage imperfections - one model is loose from its base.

The Following Three Lots Were All Built By Peter Southworth using Southworth Engines Chesterfield Based Kits. The Engines are from the 'Lincoln Series which are based on Robey's of Lincoln Slide Valve Engines. All are finished to a very high standard. A Single Cylinder Horizontal Slide Valve Steam Engine, with 1½ inch stroke, 6 inch flywheel and sat on an aluminium base c.11½ x 6 inches.
A Well Engineered Charles Burrell and Sons One Inch Gauge Live Steam Showman's Road Traction Engine, coal fitted with hand pump, water and pressure gauges, whistle, dynamo and lighting, two speed gearing and a wealth of other detail and features. The engine is mounted as a static display on a wooden box of 26 x 12 x 5 inches, this base contains an electric motor etc, to operate the engine and lighting. Overall finished in red, yellow and bright metal brass, fitted with the name plate "Diana". Plus sign writing to to canopy "Thurstons Amusements". In addition a glass case "Cover" is supplied to give overall dimensions of 24 x 18 x 11 inches. There are no build details or boiler certificate.
