VNP 158 - Austin A35 Saloon - first registered Aug 1958 and sold by Bowman & Acock Ltd of Malvern. Original 948cc engine, red interior and all period features in full working order. Purchased by the current vendor c2018, this Austin has undergone a complete nut-and-bolt restoration including a full engine rebuilt and full respray in Old English White. The car can be described an a truly excellent example, lovingly and respectfully restored and cared for by its current owner. Full working order, the Austin is said to have wanted for nothing. To aid modern driving the vendor has fitted a brake servo, sympathetically placed out of sight in the engine bay. The car starts first time and runs smoothly. Tax and MOT exempt. A truly remarkable example of a classic Austin A35 Saloon. An album of photographs from the restoration accompanies the car, along with a large folder of old receipts, MOTs and other such paperwork. Perhaps most impressively the car retains its original bill of sale from 1958. A real head-turning classic car.
