An Approx 1½in Scale Model Barrett Exall & Andrews Single-Cylinder Portable Engine, built by Tony Webster of Daventry, featured on the cover of 'Model Engineer' issue 4399 (24/03/11) and shown at the Midlands Model Engineering exhibition in 2012, a fine model of an engine by this uncommon maker based at Katesgrove Iron Works, Reading; the model stands 25in high over the hinged chimney, and features single cylinder, approx 1in x 1¼in stroke, with slide valve (appears non-reversing), locomotive-type regulator, water gauge, pressure gauge and Salter-type safety valve, 6in diameter fabricated flywheel, early-type 'half-moon' smokebox door, crank-driven water-pump (lacks some pipework and clack valve), the model painted in gloss black with red details, and engraved plaque to one side 'The Reading Iron Works Limited, Reading, England', overall VG-E, appears never steamed, motion a little stiff, complete with an aluminium carrying case with some paperwork, but no formal boiler history

Alfred Dunhill - Novelty Art Deco faux cigarette lighter minaudière, Exclusive and high quality makeup/powder compact set, in the shape of a lighter, with a perfect finish and elaboration, with all over engine turned design. * This piece was manufactured by the Alfred Dunhill company in 1928. It looks similar to Dunhill lighter model "Unique C", fabricated from 1925 to 1930, but in a larger measure, the cross bar stamped 'DUNHILL', the striker formed as an eye liner, the hinged arm lifting to reveal a screw top perfume with dip stick, the hinged front opening to reveal mirror and powder compartment with original puff and powder still present, the base with pull-out lipstick tube, the underside stamped, PATENT APPLIED FOR, PROV. PAT. 14444/28, 2 3/8in.(6cm.) wide. * Condition: In excellent condition, the only thing to note is the eye liner missing it's pin slide (still functional).

A fine Victorian scratch built model of a static steam engine, in brass and copper with a faux brick painted wood plinth, the fitted mahogany box inscribed in pencil 'This box was made by W? Roach & given to G. Chapman / It contains model engine made by G. Chapman 1888', with working taps and piston etc.Condition - not tested or used for some time, grubby, the brass and copper is tarnished, the boiler has solder repairs, the flywheel rubs slightly on the side of the plinth when turned, there are two pipes exiting the boiler which have no attachments, piston is loose on its mount. box 24cm wide

A 1973 TRUIMPH STAG 3.0 LITRE V8 AUTOMATIC CONVERTIBLE CAR WITH COUPE HARD TOP FINISHED IN WHITE, this car was first registered 21/11/1973 and has four previous keepers, the unverified mileage shows 93636 miles, the last tax disc in the window show 11/02 and the MOT certificate corresponds with that date, V5C and one key present, Registration number PNX 976, the white paint work shows signs of a dated restoration (condition report: the car is in pretty good condition with just a couple of chips and a couple of rust blisters on both front wings, the rest of the paint work could do with a power buff as what appears to be oil marks, shows dark stains on the top coat, the bright work shows signs of minor pitting and the hard top has rust under the rear screen and above the sills at the front, the soft top appears to be a more recent replacement and is in good condition apart from the discolouration of the rear plastic screen. The interior is black vinyl and in pretty good condition with no apparent rips or scuffs, the door cards are good with a later speaker fitted to each, the radio is not the original either and the dashboard looks in good condition to. The wheels appear to be the original five spoke alloys and the tyres look ok, our team put air in the tyres in February when it was transported from the garage of one of our house clearances where the car looks like it had been stored for quite a while and they still hold air. The engine bay looks fairly clean and the Truimph engine doesn't show any major rust or major oil leaks, we haven't tried to start the engine but it turns on a spanner, there are signs of fairly recent service parts, the fuel filter looks new, hose clips look new. The stromberg carburetters look like they have been cleaned and the Lucas ignition, battery (although flat) and HT leads look very recent. The boot contains an array of spare parts mostly still in their original boxesCondition Report At a polite glance a little brown and flakey. Being serious it does show signs of rust and pitting but I could'nt see any holes although I have'nt tested to see if it willhole. The rear bushes are very degraded too
