Its last MoT expired in July 2018 after testing the previous year at an indicated 833 miles. However, as an historic bike, the Triumph no longer requires annual testing. Make & Model:Volkswagen, Beetle Date of Reg:WDF385J Colour:Black cc:1285 Fuel Type:Petrol Mileage:67767 Transmission:manual Summary:A restoration of this 1971 Volkswagen Beetle 1300 was carried out in 2014, with lots of custom modifications carried out. These include custom exhaust, LED indicators, bladed front bumpers, twin 34 carburettors, alarm and immobiliser, non-standard steering wheel, rear light flipped, custom satin and matt black paint, Porsche Fuchs alloys, tinted rear windows, lowered at the front by two inches, CD player in glovebox and speakers on the back shelf. After its rebuild, the car was largely in storage for 10 years, albeit MoT-tested in December 2022. The items it failed on have now been rectified, we're told, although as an historic vehicle, the Beetle will no longer require annual testing. Make & Model:Morris , Mini Cooper S Date of Reg:FHA314D Colour:Red cc:1275 Fuel Type:Petrol Mileage:5146 Transmission:manual Summary:It is understood that this Mini has been in storage for several years. As is often the case with classics of this age, at some time in the past the car was re-shelled using a later 1971 shell. Purchased by our vendor about three years ago who, in the process of updating the V5 in his name fell foul of the Swansea bureaucratic whirlpool, the upshot of which is that its original 1966 registration number has been cancelled, it has been issued with a new DVLA chassis number - DVLASWA3972414203. As such, it will require re-registering and once done will be issued with a ‘Q’ registration. Despite the above, this classic Mini does offer the new purchaser an exciting project or valuable source of spares. The engine was running two years ago although the clutch was stuck and the exhaust has a blow. Although the engine number is associated with a 1960's Cooper S engine, we are unable to verify this is the correct one for the car. Comes with Heritage BMIHT Heritage Certificate, DVLA correspondence, older V5's and MoT certificates. 5,146 miles

The model was introduced in late 1990 as a replacement for the Bluebird and built in Sunderland; in its day, it was a very well-regarded car with a reputation for fine driving and good handling. The 2.0-litre SR20 engine produces 128bhp.  This example was registered in March 1991, making it an early car. It features electric windows all round, central locking and manual factory sunroof. It is totally original - even down to original dealer numberplates, tax disc holder, keyring and factory stereo (with electric aerial) and is now showing a low 44,314 miles on its odometer, which can be verified from the paperwork. Condition inside and out is very good, especially considering the originality. The MoT is valid until September 2025. The first owner had it for 30 years until his death in 2020; in his ownership, it was carefully looked after and apparently garaged every night. It still has his binoculars and cassettes in the centre armrest cubby hole where he left them (along with newer versions of the sweets he also enjoyed). It has been converted to a dragster although, for the last 20 years, it has been on display in the showroom of now-closed Volvo specialist C P Motors near Tamworth, Staffordshire. The 760 GLE was originally registered in January 1988 and has six registered keepers recorded on its V5C. Its odometer shows 1113 miles and its MoT is valid until September 2025. It features a 6276cc V8 engine from a Jensen Interceptor (set well back in the engine bay so the car is almost mid-engined) along with a Jensen gearbox, prop and rear axle. It runs and drives but, as it has been standing for 20 years, is likely to require a service and setting up. Its colour was changed from blue to yellow in March 2003 so it is likely that the conversion was done around this time. Paperwork includes the V5C, MoT certificates, some early 21st century invoices, timing slips from drag runs at the Shakespeare County Raceway and a rolling road print out showing 265.4bhp peak power and 286lb ft of torque.

It has an MoT through to July 2025 and is showing five registered keepers on its V5C. Recent work has included the coolant reservoir replaced, new decals added and a brand new tonneau cover and travel bag (custom made). The car is reported to be running and driving well with no known issues. Paperwork includes the V5C, technical information, MoT certificates back to 2005 and a stack of invoices. Lot 350

Make & Model:Reliant , Regal Date of Reg:806XVD Colour:Blue cc:747 Fuel Type:Petrol Mileage:75000 Transmission:manual Summary:Registered in August 1962, this Reliant Regal MkVI (one of only about 100 left) is now showing circa 75,000 miles on its odometer. Its last MoT expired in November 2019 after being tested the previous year at an indicated 74,839 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Reliant no longer requires annual testing. The vendor tells us that the engine runs with no smoke but requires a new fuel line (due to a possible air leak). Because of this, it is currently only going when supplied with petrol direct from a can. The vendor acquired it in January 2024 as a project to rebuild; its previous owner stated that it had had a new clutch plus work on brakes. The Reliant is believed to be complete, with trim, side windows and original seats. The chassis is reported as okay with no rot, but the electrics haven't been checked. The only paperwork with the car is a current and past V5C. However, we are told there is a video about the car on the Reliant Owners' Club Facebook page, which may provide more history.

Lot 354

Make & Model:Ford, Sierra RS COSWORTH Date of Reg:D737PJW Colour:White cc:1993 Fuel Type:Petrol Mileage:13231 Transmission:manual Summary:This 1987 Ford Sierra Cosworth has been owned by our vendor since it was less than a year old. Supplied new by Bristol Street Motors and then by TC Harrison. First registered on the 28th of January 1987 and understood to have initially been used as a dealership demonstrator before being passed to its second recorded keeper just two months later. The Speedo head failed early on in its life and was replaced by TC Harrison at 12,204 miles in March 1988. In November 1988 it appears the replacement speedo head required replacement again at an indicated 2,729 miles. Thereafter, the Cosworth has only received limited use, backed up by MoT certificates dating back to 1990 at 2,735 miles and through to 2017 at 12,980 miles. The total mileage that the Cosworth has covered is believed to be less than 30,000 with the current reading at 13,231. More recently the Cosworth suffered from a small engine bay fire whilst being started after a period of inactivity, so will need some repair work to return it to the road. No insurance claim has been made and the car remains clear on Hpi . The vendor has confirmed to us that it has received little use over the last twenty five years and is in original condition.Paperwork with the Cosworth includes the V5C, MoT certificates back to 1990 that back up the low mileage, old tax discs, and some early invoices. There's also the book pack with owner's handbook, radio guide and security instructions. The service book has five stamps up to October 1989. There's also a spare key as well.

This example was registered in September 1993 and is now showing 181,852 miles on its odometer. It has an MoT valid until February 2025. The vendor has owned it for three years and cites it as very reliable; it was driven 110 miles to the auction. Faults noted by the vendor include the heater being weak (but the heater blower is working), the passenger windor only going up on the driver's side switch and the nearside rear door not working with central locking. A new battery has recently been fitted. Paperwork includes the V5C, a Haynes workshop manual, Highlander brochure, MoT certificates, list of work carried out between February 2014 and September 2024 (and at which mileages), and assorted invoices. It was restored (and its colour changed from original Ivory White) and then UK-registered in April 1998 (with photographs and invoices supporting this in the paperwork file). The odometer shows 10,288 miles and the last MoT expired in January 2024 after being tested the previous year at an indicated 9752 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Austin-Healey no longer requires annual testing. The V5C notes six registered keepers, one of whom was Anthony Hamilton, the father of Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton. Our vendor bought the car in January 2023 to satisfy a long-term desire but never intended to own the car for too long, hence its sale now. He reports that it runs and drives well, and is reliable on the local classic car trips he has used it on, but notes some engine oil leakage at the front. Upgrades include LED lighting with indicator conversion.  Paperwork includes the V5C, MoT certificates back to 1999, some Alabama paperwork, and a collection of invoices. There's also the restoration photos, SU carburettor tuning, adjustment and servicing instructions, a Heritage Certificate, workshop manual and a notebook detailing work done between August 2018 and October 2024, which includes a recent full service.

It was then dry-stored again for the past 10 years. The engine was also rebuilt around a decade ago but hardly used since. New carpets have just been fitted. The car was running when stored, but will obviously require some recommissioning to bring it back to the road.
