A BOXED TINPLATE CLOCKWORK COAL MINE TOY, No 591, modelled as a pit head and engine house with wagon running on an incline between the two, possibly Arnold, marked 'Made in Germany', has crossed hammers symbol at both ends and a stepped letter V to chimney, appears complete, multi coloured lithograph design in very good condition with only minor paint loss and wear, complete with key, motor winds and runs ok but wagon will not run up and down incline, smoke generator still sparks but smoke cartridge empty, with instructions for smoke generator, length of toy approximately 34cm, box complete with colour ullustration to lid but has some damage. Condition Report No train present to pull the carriage, as the carriage has a man in place pushing it. The advertising photo on the front of the box shows this
