Replace - Remove an item and fit a new or reconditioned item - artwork features a soldier fixing a car engine and throwing a car part into the face of another man. Inspect - Review the work by tradesman to see that it has been carried out satisfactorily - artwork features a man eating a potato from the plate of a surprised chef. Set of five propaganda posters issued by teh Royal Air Force as safety precaution instructions on various acpects of aircraft maintenance and safety. 1. Danger AVPIN. Versions of the Rolls-Royce Avon turbojet engine used a geared turbine starter motor that burned isopropyl nitrate as the fuel. In military service this monofuel had the NATO designation of S-746 AVPIN. For starting a measured amount of fuel was introduced to the starter combustion chamber then ignited electrically, the hot gases spinning the turbine at high revolutions with the exhaust exiting overboard. 1960s. Size (cm): 38x50.5. Excellent condition, fold, minor creasing.; 2. Painting and doping instructions. 1960s. Size (cm): 33x20. Very good condition, fold, minor staining.; 3. Electrical equipment is a source of fire, unplug. 1960s. Size (cm):74.5x49. Very good condition, folds, minor creasing.; 4. Lightning ejection procedure and escape drill for MK4 aircraft. 1964. Link Trainer Chart, with an artwork of a technical diagram and accompanying text reading The following procedures can be practised on this chart - Radio range, standard beam approach, I.L.S. Beam approach beacon system, ground control approach, descent through cloud, radio compass, and No.1 Controlled approach. The Link Trainers are a series of flight simulators produced between the early 1930s and early 1950s by the Link Aviation Devices, Inc, founded and headed by Ed Link, based on technology he pioneered in 1929 at his family's business in Binghamton, New York.
