Extremely manoeuvrable with the four wheel steering system, starts instantly, is economical on fuel and ready for work having had regular oil and filter changes.

Lot 258

A 1952 Lister Junior twin fly wheel model B tank cooled petrol Stationary Engine, serial no. 1147B2 mounted on a steel rail base together with it's associated coolant tank of riveted construction. The engine has been partially dismantled by the sadly deceased owner in order to repair water jacket frost damage (now welded). The cylinder and the lower part of the engine including the piston and piston rings appear in usable order, the throttle butterfly valve is present but the remaining parts of the carburettor are absent these including the float chamber and mixture control, choke, etc. The engine had been used in the local area belt driving a crane, the function of which was apparently to lift a deep well pump from the ground when servicing was required. The magneto is present and the re-commissioning of the engine will surely prove both rewarding and exciting as it once again bursts into life. S., Birmingham (no town mark), 1830, 82 grams, 7.5cm wide, together with a George II silver toddy ladle with whale bone handle, dolphin terminal and set with a coin (2). Box with typical minor wear and scratches. Some very slight tiny dents to the side edges. Hinge action very good. Cartouche not engraved. Ladle bowl with very minor dents and silver solder around the terminal.
