1977 Honda CD175, 174cc. Registration number TAT 206T. Frame number CD175 4041025. Engine number CD175E 4041982.Sold with the V5C.Introduced in 1966, the Honda CD175 was aimed squarely at the market sector that regarded motorcycles merely as cheap and convenient transport rather than thrilling lifestyle accessories. Not exactly an exciting performer, the CD175 would nevertheless cruise comfortably at 65mph while at the same time delivering around 70 miles to every gallon. A lengthy - by Japanese standards - production run of almost 12 years proved the rightness of the basic concept.

Lot 212

1942 Solar Aqua (Rolex) gentleman's wrist watch. The watch having a circular 28mm cream face with Arabic numerals on a grey plaited wrist band, nr 201592. The watch was owned by Flight Lieutenant Tim Fanning. He purchased the watch in Toronto in 1942, after completing the Commonwealth Air Training Programme which trained pilots for service in WWII. In 1944 he joined RAF Bomber Command where he completed multi-engine heavy bomber pilot training, after which he joined 195 Squadron operating Avro Lancaster's based at Wratting Common Cambridge, flying 26 bombing operations over Germany until the surrender in May 1945. He then flew a further eight operations 'Operation Manna' dropping food to the starving Dutch population and repatriating British POW's. Flight Lieutenant wore the watch throughout his wartime RAF career and for the remainder of his life. A small collection of Rolls Royce automobilia, to include a 'Spirit of Ecstasy' approx 15.5 cms h, Rolls Royce chassis plate and three other Rolls Royce engine badges.  Provenance: Collected over many years by a former fitter at the Rolls Royce and Bentley car plant in Crewe, Cheshire.  The owner was an experienced mechanic, who joined the factory team in the early 1980’s & worked there on the shop floor until retirement in 2006.  As a motor enthusiast, he was a keen collector of mascots, model cars and other automobilia as opportunity arose.

Also included Hasegawa weapons sets B and C (some items used but extra sprues in set B) and 2 highly detailed Eduard Brassin weapons sets, 648 028 AIM-9B Sidewinders (4 missiles in set) and 648 095 GBU-24 LGB (2 bombs in set). All transparencies checked and are perfect/un-damaged.
