A George I silver tankard by Thomas Tearle, London 1725, straight tapered, the double domed cover with a volute thumbpiece, the scroll handle with a pointed terminal, a central girdle, on a moulded foot, the handle engraved `A*S`, 17cm (6.5in), 772g (24.75 oz). A Queen Anne silver tankard by John Abbott, London 1706, Britannia standard, straight tapered, the raised flat-topped cover with a volute thumbpiece, the scroll handle with a leaf terminal, on a moulded foot, engraved with an armorial within foliate mantling, 19cm (7.5in) high, 882g (28.25 oz). Worcester circa 1770, to include a bell shape tankard, twin handled bowl, tureen stand, pierced basket, sucrier, and a tea canister, (extensive damages and restorations to all) (7). Condition top to bottom, left to right: 1: long crack, holes filled from old staple repair. 2: Old restoration, once broken in to three. 3: big body crack and associated hole, replacement hallmarked silver cover. 4: lacking handles, body crack, typical losses to applied flora and leaves. 5: old restoration to restuck piece of cover, no finial, base cracked. 6: overall old restoration covering several re-joins.
