Military interest, Royal Flying Corps/R.A.F 19thC silver pint tankard presented to "STS Vola, maiden voyage 1956 from Air chief Marshall Sir Arthur Sanders". Sanders joined the R.F.C later R.A.F during WWI and lost an arm during a dog fight in 1917, afterwards staying on the forces until he retired in 1956. Tankard is by H.Wilkinson and Co, assayed Sheffield 1877
