Farrow, covering the period December 30th 1943 to May 30th 1946, various interesting comments including `Dessau starboard wing damaged by Ju88`, `Rotterdam "Spam" food supplies Op "Manna"`, `Exodus 24 Ex. P.O.W. Base - Brussels, Brussels - Wing, Wing - Base`, total hours 569.4 mins, mainly as air bomber, together with four Second World War medals, comprising 1939-45 Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal and 1939-45 War Medal, unnamed, mounted on a bar, a ribbon bar, four accompanying dress miniature medals, further items including a 101 Squadron R.A.F. blazer badge, a bomb-aimer`s badge, an Operation Manna April-May 1945 circular cloth badge and commemorative medallions, a colour print of a 101 Squadron Lancaster with five crew positions signed, two unsigned, various items of ephemera relating to Operation Manna, a sergeant`s mess one pint glass tankard, four items of commemorative China, etc.

A good early George III provincial silver tankard. Newcastle, 1760-9, by John Langlands I. Plain baluster form with domed, hinged cover, with scrolled, pierced thumbpiece, reeded girdle on spreading circular foot, and a scroll shaped handle with heart shaped terminal. Approx. 12cm diameter x 21cm high. Approx. 29.9 oz.
