An unusual early 18th century pewter and silver inlaid flagon, this possibly Scandinavian tankard having niello style inlaid silver repeated designs, the cover with dome to centre and later replaced thumb piece engraved monogram and inscription “Hold Fast Faith”, ear shaped handle with scroll to base, damaged to top, the body with scrolling and geometric designs, on spreading foot, filled base, inlaid name or markers mark to underside (2)
