Collection of Royal Doulton Vintage Jugs & Tankards including: Royal Doulton 'Old Curiosity Shop' Jug from the Dickens series; Royal Doulton 'Oliver Twist' Tankard No 857581; and Bewly Pottery Musical Ceramic Jug made for the coronation of King Edward VIII dated May 12 1937. Cream jug decorated with mounted horses, with 'God Save the King' around the base. The handle depicts a lion.
A William IV silver tankard, Benjamin Reece Dexter, London, 1837 (with William IV head), of footed tulip form, profusely cast and chased with floral and foliate design, with snake form scroll handle, inscribed under rim 'MAA, 21 June 1839', internally gilded, 3 5/8in. (9.2cm.) high; together with a small Victorian silver tankard, dating 1889, weight 6.2 tr.oz. (2)**Condition: Both pieces in good condition, very slightly rubbed marks on both.

A German faïence tankard dated 1764, the cylindrical form painted in polychrome enamels with a figure walking through a field with birds flying beside, with pewter mounts, the lid inscribed with the initials 'AGK' and 1764, 22.3cm. Provenance: gifted to the vendor's father by a German colleague on his retirement in the mid 1990s, and thence by descent.
An early George III silver tankard, maker's mark worn probably John Langlands, Newcastle 1760/68: inscribed, of cylindrical tapering outline, with domed hinged lid having a scroll thumbpiece and scroll handle with heart-shaped terminal, later embossed foliate decoration on a spreading circular foot, 16cm. high, 633gms, 20.35ozs.
