A silver yachting trophy tankard by Charles James Allen, Sheffield 1931, of plain tapering cylindrical form with looping handle inscribed 'Vorsa-Six Metres British American Cup Races Ryde and Cowes July 1932 - Ewen McPhail', below two crossed marine flags. With another tankard inscribed for 'The Long Island Sound, September, 1934', same winner, each 10.5cm high, 25oz total (2)
A George III silver tankard, with later chasing and engraving, Newcastle 1772, John Langlands, 304 grams (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This piece does have two minor problems. The most proud section of the rose embossing is rubbed through and there is a small 3-4 mm gap that would require filling. On the opposite side of the tankard there is a similar but far smaller pinhole on the proud part of what looks like a tulip. There are no other holes however these two would require filling. Other than this the tankard is sound and there is no evidence of any repairs or restoration.

Box of assorted china to include; blue and white floral dresser jugs, Paragon George VI coronation loving mug, various blue and white plates, Wedgwood blue and white tankard, other baluster floral jugs etc. CONDITION REPORT: Imari type jug - 2 chips to spout, very crazed. Other jug - crazed but no obvious damage.
A William & Mary silver lidded tankard, hallmarked London 1691, maker's mark possibly of James Young, the horse finial and spout hallmarked London 1873, maker's mark of RH The hinged lid with a later horse finial, the main body later decorated with an English Civil War scene and with a later Bacchic mask spout with a presentation inscription beneath a crest. 24 cm high. CONDITION REPORTS: Some tarnishing, some denting/misshaping, horse with one leg broken and with previous repair to back legs, general wear.
