A Coalport porcelain Tankard, October 25th 1809, transfer printed in black with a portrait of George III and a banner inscribed 'Glorious Jubilee to England' between gilts lines, wear and restored, 10cm The king was, at this date, in the throes of porphyria and unable to reign effectively; his son, later George IV, was Regent. It is interesting to note that the moulded handle has been borrowed from a contemporary Chinese example. CONDITION REPORT: gilt wear to the top rim, printing is faded to the portrait, some evidence of overpainting to the gilt lettering below, restored through the body to the base rim
A very rare moulded pearlware Tankard, probably 1822, the portrait of George IV wearing military style uniform above a banner impressed 'King George IIII' between flowers, all carefully picked out in enamels reserved on a pink lustre ground, 13.4cm This large mug may well be Scottish and commemorating the visit of George to Scotland, much against his courtiers' advice. He devised his own uniform to the horror of his advisers, but to the delight of his Scottish people. CONDITION REPORT: Restored to the left side of the bust George IV, the lustre has been touched up which is visible to the rim and sprayed to the inside, which runs to the base of the tankard
A collection of 20th Century Chinese relief decorated pottery, to include a pair of baskets, two vases, and a tankard CONDITION REPORTS All with wear and scuffs and crazing. Neck of small vase broken and glued. Large vase chipped. One basket very broken and glued and with repainting and chips and losses. Other basket with chips and losses, and remnants of red paint.
A collection of glassware to include two duck shaped paperweights with internal bubble decoration, a Murano glass pear ornament, a white and blue overlaid glass bowl in the form of a shell, an amber coloured glass conical shaped ale glass, pair of glass tankards, etc (14) CONDITION REPORTS All with wear, scuffs and dirt. Duck beaks appear to have been ground down, and there are chips to both of their bases. One tankard has blemishes to rim. Pressed glass vase has frits and roughness. One of the set of 3 bowls has chips to the rim. Otherwise generally sound.
A large circular copper twin handled pan, a 19th century copper kettle, a copper mould inscribed "F.G.", a tankard with coppered finish, and two horseshoes CONDITION REPORTS Copper pan 43cm diameter approx internal dimension when measured from inside the top rim in the 'handle to handle' direction. Internal measurement in sideways direction approx 42.5cm (ie pan not quite circular). Wear, scuffs and some knocks. There does not appear to be any size indicated on handles. The construction/join of the base to the sides is visible to the sides (please see photos). Other items with wear, scuffs and some dents, tankard in poor condition.

HEALEY "Still life study of flowers in a pewter mug resting upon a table", oil on board, signed lower left CONDITION REPORTS Overall colour appears good, though has some crazing and cracking to the paintwork horizontally throughout (see close-up photos), appears to have dents to the panel around the middle of the pewter tankard/vase in which the flowers sit right-hand side approx. small finger nail size (see photos), whilst there are some darker patches showing up under UV light to the extremities of some of the petals we do not believe this is a sign of restoration. Frame has several areas of damage with white coming through the gilding to the gesso particularly on the corners and two large areas of gesso missing to the left-hand side (see photos).
A quantity of Indian brassware, comprising; a log storage can, 40cm. high, three pots with flared rims, two vases, four goblets, four Victorian candlesticks, two nutcrackers, a corkscrew, together with an alabaster lidded barrel 20cm high, two metal candle holders, a pewter tankard, and a white metal sugar spoon, the top decorated with circular motifs.
