A GERMAN GILT METAL PRESENTATION TANKARD AND COVER, 19th century, .800 standard, surmounted with a model of a hound, over a plain body applied with a ribbon tied floral wreath and filled with a presentation inscription for 'Hunde Aufstellung Hamburg 1876', on a pierced splayed base. 23cm high
A 19th century carved ivory lidded tankard The tusk carved in the round with putti, birds, animals and other figures in a continuous procession, set with plated mounts, the removable lid with pineapple finial, the handle with mask thumbpiece, standing on a repousse stepped plinth base. 24 cm high. CONDITION REPORTS: Some staining, some splits, some small chips/fritting, one birds head re-attached, some plate wear/loss, scratching to underside of base, general wear.
WEMBLEY HOME GUARD Unusual items, Three pewter tankards, two large, one small, each awarded to a member of the Wembley Stadium Home Guard Unit. The two larger (one pint) trophies are each inscribed as being awarded to Pte H. Mcpherson, for miniature rifle shooting, Wembley Stadium Home Guard Unit (March 42 and April 42), the smaller tankard was also awarded to Cpl Mcpherson for miniature rifle shooting in December 42. The base of each tankard is inscribed J.T & Co English Pewter. Generally good
A collection of early Moorcroft to include a 'Claremont Toadstool' cup and saucer, an early Moorcroft Art Nouveau flowers coffee cup and saucer, a small Moorcroft Big Poppy pattern miniature baluster vase with paper label, height 9cm and a Moorcroft Anemone pin dish (mostly af) and a modern Moorcroft Museum tankard, height approx 8.5cm (7). CONDITION REPORT Both saucers appear undamaged, as is the tankard, the toadstool cup has significant repair to the edge and handle, the Florian coffee cup has chip and cracks.
A 19th century Chinese tankard in the famille rose palette with enamel decoration of flora and butterflies, a model of a dog in Japanese Imari palette with floral decoration, character marks to the base, an early 20th century Beswick model of a pheasant, and a late 19th century cup with enamelled hand painted decoration of birds and foliage with loop handle (4).

CONDITION REPORT: The tankard is in overall good condition with no obvious dents, splits or repairs. It is a pint size tankard. If the tankard is held in the left hand the engraved name shows at the front in the middle of the tankard.
