A BOHEMIAN GLASS LIDDED TANKARD, CIRCA 1840-50, the body in white overlay and cut with foliate motifs heightened in gilt and with foliate scroll decoration, having a clear glass scroll handle, the hinged white metal lid having a scroll thumb piece and an acorn wreath, engraved to the centre 'Herrn J.J. Ahders zur Erinnerung an den 8. Juni 1858.'. 12cm high The absence of a Condition Report does not imply that a lot is without imperfections. Please note carefully the exclusion of liability for the condition of lots contained in the Conditions of Sale.Gilding worn to the white overlay and the rim which is covered by the lid. The lid closes flush but the hinge is slightly loose and therefore the lid does rock side to side slightly. No apparent chips or cracks and generally good condition commensurate with age.

AN EDWARDIAN SILVER BON-BON BASKET, pierced and chased decoration with swing handle, on circular platform foot, Birmingham 1902, fitted blue glass liner, 11cm high, together with a silver mounted glass tankard and a silver mounted cut glass bowl, wei ghable silver; 108g (3)Condition report: tankard – The glass is good, solder repair to the rim band. Bowl – The glass good, silver rim good. Basket – Blue glass liner – small chip to the rim, a few debts to the basket.
A tray of 18th century and later English pottery, including a pearlware tankard and sauce boat, Creamware bullet form teapot (E N Stretton Collection C85) decorated in enamels, two spongeware mugs one inscribed Mary etc (one tray). Tankard with three cracks, chipping around the footrim and crazed. Sauceboat cracked and crazed. Creamware teapot Piece missing from the rim of the cover, loss to the end of the spout, crazed, stained and with some enamel wear. Mary mug, two rim chips, two cracks, crazed. Smaller cup, restored crack and handle. Copper lustre mug with a chip to the foot. Silver lustre cup and saucer with a chip to the rim of the saucer. Printed jug, heavily crazed and stained and with a foot chip.
A George III silver tankard, by William Spackman, London, Probably 1724, cylindrical and with domed cover, the cover with scroll thumb piece, overall later chased with Teniers style figures in an interior, all among foliage and scroll decoration, 17cm high, 20oz 12dwt, 640gr. Marked near handle. Further part marked inside cover and with maker's mark only on handle. The marks near the handle are only partly visible and are distorted from the later chasing. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use.
Pair of 19th century Meissen rose water jars and covers, decorated with applied flowers, a Sampson tankard, Newhall tea bowl and saucer, a pair of miniature continental figures after Chelsea and other china (one tray). Meissen jars 20cm, one with pieces re glued to the top of the neck. Both with losses to the applied work. The other components of the lot in good condition.
An early 19th century Leeds pearlware cylindrical tankard with reeded strap handle, painted in enamels and inscribed for Thomas Reynord 1802, together with a late 18th century pearlware teapot and cover enamelled with sprigs under lambrequin borders (2) Notes; see John D. Griffin, the Yorkshire Potteries pg.219, plate 548 for another example of the tankard with similar decoration. Tankard with a V shaped section missing from the rim and associated crack. Firing crack across the lower handle terminal. Chipping around the foot and with some glaze scratches. Teapot lid with some rim repair. Main body also with professional restoration. Firing imperfection showing a hole in the body. Spout tip sleeved with white metal.
