WWI Royal Guernsey Light Infantry medal group - silver shooting prize tankard, cap badge; service badge; trench art bullet lighter; trench art book shaped lighter, photograph & paper clipping, all relating to the Duquemin family, the George III shooting prize tankard hallmarked for Charles Hougham, London, 1792, weight 10.1 tr.oz., with later repoussé floral and foliate decoration, leaf capped scrolling handle on spreading foot, the cartouche inscribed 'Colonel James Priaulx, Queens, A.D.C., to the best marksman in the Royal Guernsey Milita, 1863, Won By P. Duquemin 2nd Regiment', the corresponding photograph pasted to card with inscription verso reads: 'Piere Duquemin, of Carteret, Cobo, Great Grandfather of Roy, Peter also winner of silver tankard 1863', the Guernsey Press clipping dated Wednesday 14 August 2002 with the headline 'Sharpshooters leave their mark on Cobo coastline', the story pointing out the numbers carved into sea walls along Cobo and Grande Rocques used as the rifle range; the WWI War & Victory medals named '1464 Pte. VERY LARGE CHINESE PORCELAIN BLUE AND WHITE STRAIGHT SIDED TANKARD with entwined and relief floral and foliate handles, decorated with hand painted pagodas and other scenery. Probably Qian Long Period. 18.5cm high, diameter 15cm approx.(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: In very good condition for age, one noticeable chip to top rim of tankard, minor frit to one of the handles. Base is unmarked.

A pair of 18th century Chinese bowls, and a Chinese tankard. Bowl diameter 14.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The tankard has a 5 mm x 3 mm chip to the rim. The enamel decoration looks intact with no flaking or chips. One of the pair of bowls is generally in good order with no visible hairline cracks however there are small chips to the foot rim which are basically only visible when the bowl is turned upside down. The other bowl has a 6 cm hairline crack. There are a few small spots of flaking enamel to the blue robe of the seated figure fishing. The foot rim is in good order.
A George II silver tankard, London 1751, maker possibly John Alderhead, 297 grams (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Height 12 cm. There is no significant damage to the tankard. There are minor surface scratches and small dents but no significant issues. We cannot see any evidence of any repairs. The vacant cartouche does not feel thin and we do not think anything has been removed here. The hallmarks to the base are all rubbed but legible with the exception of the makers mark which is the most worn and difficult to read.
A pair of Spode Pearlware pickle dishes, early 19th century, with blue and white transfer printed decoration, printed marks to underside, and a Pearlware blue and white transfer printed waisted mug, early 19th century. 12.7 cm and 9.7 cm respectively. CONDITION REPORT: One pickle dish has two very minute chips to the rim. Otherwise there are no further obvious faults. The other pickle dish has a small 1 cm section of leaf broken and glued. A further section 1 cm beneath it has also been broken and glued. 5 cm along the rim there is a 1 cm rim chip and a further 1 cm hairline crack to the underside. The blue and white tankard appears to be in good order with no obvious chips or cracks. There is however the usual slight rubbing to the glaze on 50% of the rim and the majority of the foot rim (however, this is normal).
