SIEGE OF MAFEKING BOER WAR DAMAGED PEWTER TANKARD. A very interesting Boer War souvenir tankard from the Siege of Mafeking 1899-1900; a standard military issue tankard with a clear bullet hole that goes through the top rim and has clipped the rim on the other side as it exits causing distortion to the shape. Feint but clearly visible to the naked eye, it is marked MAFEKING 1899. 50-70

Small chip to banding on outside of rim. Small chip to underside of footrim.

Vase - small glazing loss to underside of top rim.
A Worcester porcelain footed slop bowl, circa 1770, blue and white decorated with sprays of leaves and flowers, crescent mark verso, dia.15cm; and two other Worcester pieces of the period being cream jug and tankard, decorated with pagodas and a Chinese landscape (tankard print lacks clarity) (3) Condition Report / Extra Information Slop bowl - light handling wear, some decoration lacks crispness. Cream jug - no apparent faults. Tankard - printed decoration poor particularly to fence pattern, chip to underside of foot rim, fine star crack to base.
