A George I Silver Tankard, possibly by Thomas Spackman, London 1715, with moulded rim, girdle and footrim, the scroll handle engraved with initials "AIM", 4.5ins high, weight 10.8ozsOf a good gauge of silver. Condition not good in that it is rubbed, dented and mis-shapen all over - rims, body, handle, footrim. Some crease dents around the base base of the handle. Marks struck near the rim by the handle - very rubbed.
Two George V Silver Tankards, one by Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1925, of cylindrical form with reeded base and angular scroll handle, 5.5ins high, the other by A & J Zimmerman Ltd, Birmingham 1926, with moulded rim and footrim, and leaf capped scroll handle, 5ins high, combined weight 25ozs Pint Tankard - Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1925 - heavy gauge of silver. Rim very slightly mis-shapen - pinhead size dent to rim. Light surface abrasions all over. Hallmarks well struck near rim by handle. A Chinese blue and white porcelain beehive water coupe, mark of Xuande but late 19th century, painted with dragons and vapours, underglaze blue four-character mark to base, height 6cm, together with a Chinese blue and white export porcelain tankard, Qianlong period, painted with a river landscape, height 16.2cm (cracked and repaired handle).
