Robert Hennell III A Magnificent And Impressive Mid Victorian Period Sterling Silver Flagon Of Large Proportion Cylindrical form tankard with hinged lid, raised on a spreading base; the body profusely embossed with a dynamic hunting scene incorporating hounds and deer amongst flowers and foliage terminating at an empty C scroll border cartouche. Finished with an impressive foliate scroll handle terminating at scrolled thumb piece; the flat, hinged lid with naturalistic cast hound and stag finial. Graduated set of three late 18th Century Chinese porcelain straight sided mugs with dragon form loop handles, overall decorated with reserve panels of Deutsche Blumen (German Flowers) after Meissen. 14cm, 13cm, 12cm high approx. (3)(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: All three handles have been broken off and staple repaired. Large tankard has chip to rim and frits. Middle size tankard has various small chips and frits to the rim but basically good. All with wear commensurate with age to decoration.
