George III silver tankard, of slightly tapering cylindrical from, with chased and repousse crown above a monogrammed cartouche and floral, foliate and C scroll decoration, with acanthus capped C scroll handle, hallmarked WT, possibly William Turton, London 1774, H11.5cmCondition Report: Approximate total silver weight 10.10 ozt (314.1 grams)General wear commensurate with age and use, in the form of surface scratches, nicks and small knocks. Larger knock to front near monogram. Later replacement base, stamped E. Davis Bradford. Hallmarks with some wear, some elements indistinct.

A Charles II silver tankard, maker's mark EG (possibly by Edward Gladwin), London 1671, of tapering cylindrical with a raised hinged cover, a scroll thumbpiece and a S-scroll handle, on a reeded foot, the cover and sides later scroll chased, the interior later gilt, 16.5cm (6 1/2in) high, 789g (25.35 oz)Jackson (3rd edition, p. 129) records a cup, two tankards, and an alms dish by this maker between 1670 and 1680. David M. Mitchell, Silversmiths in Elizabethan and Stuart London, p. 281. Condition Report Later chased and gilt inside. Cover not marked (full marks to side by handle, maker's mark to handle).
A plain silver tankard, Hukin & Heath Ltd, Birmingham 1943, flat top square section handle, 12cm,10oz, no monograms or personal inscriptions.Condition report:Slightly squeezed at the rim. Another slight bruise to the baseline (see image). The rest of the shape is good, very minor pinpoint dings, the marks are crisp. Does not appear to have had any engravings polished out.
