A Royal Doulton stoneware twin handled tankard commemorating Lord Nelson, the handles fashioned as rope, central medallion with portrait of Nelson beneath crown and motto ‘ England expects every man will do his duty’ to the other side, green, blue and brown glazes, Height 15 cms, along with a Royal Doulton stoneware Tabasco jar with cover, also commemorating lord Nelson, main body with blue ground and applied decoration with green and brown glazes, the England expects motto around the top rim, height 13.5 cms. Condition: tankard; two chips to inside rim, inside base of both handles appear to have been secluded, Tabasco jar: small firing crack and thin chip to inside of cover, some firing imperfections to main body.
