A Queen Anne silver tankard by John Abbott, London 1706, Britannia standard, straight tapered, the raised flat-topped cover with a volute thumbpiece, the scroll handle with a leaf terminal, on a moulded foot, engraved with an armorial within foliate mantling, 19cm (7.5in) high, 882g (28.25 oz).
