Sechs geschnitzte, unbeschriftete Siegelsteine, China, 20. Jhdt. Vier Siegelsteine mit quadratischer Grundfläche. Drei aus hellbraunem Jadestein, oben dekorativ verziert. Der vierte und größte aus rötlichem Gestein mit hellen Einsprengseln. Oben ein überaus kunstfertig geschnitzter Drache vor einer Wunschkugel. Dazu zwei Siegelsteine mit rechteckiger Grundfläche. Der eine mit Fo-Hund, der andere mit auslaufender Flasche. Intakt. Höhe 2,8 - 6,5 cm. Zustand: II +Six skillfully carved Chinese jade seals, 20th century Four seal stones with square base. Three made of light brown jade and decorated on top. The fourth and largest one is made of reddish stone with light-coloured incrustations. On top an extremely skilfully carved dragon. In addition two seal stones with rectangular base. One with a Fo dog, the other with a leaking bottle. Intact. Height 2.8 - 6.5 cm. Condition: II +

An early / mid 20th century Chinese watercolour on linen - buildings before mountainous terrain and with trees to the foreground, signed top right and with red seal mark, glazed Hogarth frame (image size 38.5cm x 16cm)Condition Report: The painting itself appears to suffer slightly from foxing mainly to the top area, the bottom and left of the signature and seal mark, there is also some minor foxing to the highest left-hand mountain prevalent to the middle and bottom. The foxing appears much less halfway and beyond. Towards the bottom there is a small fingernail sized kink in the linen to the lower left. Apart from the foxing the painting appears in good general overall condition.
A pair of Chinese watercolours on paper - a mountain and a waterfall scene with stylised clouds, each with annotation and red square seal mark and mounted on card (each approx. 48cm x 34cm)Condition Report: The item has come from a private vendor. The first image with the arched central mountain and calligraphy/poem to the top left....some of the paper is coming away (a 4-5cm vertical piece away to the left of the calligraphy, there are some marks, spotting and general marks of age to the work.(as a result to never having been framed), there is a 2cm tear which has been laid down on the top right-hand side. The art work is within an applied border within a folded piece of card and again the watercolour has suffered around the corner and edges. The second work with the calligraphy on the top right is in similar but slightly better condition. There are some small possibly water marks to the top and other marks of age and some small scuffs and tears mostly to the edges. Opening up there are minor tears to the corners of the inside, particularly in the top left.

It is noted that there are a few minor 'ripples' mostly to the lower part beneath the rooster's claws. There are no rips, tears, damage or restoration noted. Likely to be the original frame and backing.
