(8.5cms) high, bowls are 8 1/4in. (21cms) wide (one bowl broken and re-glued, one bowl with rim chip) both with old paper labels to base "Chien-lung 1736-1795". PROVENANCE: Collection of The Rt.Hon.Sir Conyngham Greene (1854-1934), acquired before 1919 and thence by descent, sold by direction of his family. The bowls were presented to Sir Conyngham Greene whilst His Majesty`s` Ambassador to Tokyo 1912-1919.
