A Chinese sgraffito yellow ground medallion bowl, underglaze blue Daoguang six character seal mark and of the period (1821-50), finely painted in famille rose enamels with three roundels depicting a ram in a flower garden with rockwork interspersed by vases holding peony sprays beside auspicious objects including pomegranates, a sprig of lingzhi fungus and double cash on an incised yellow ground, the interior painted in underglaze blue with a further roundel of three rams within a border of four flower and fruiting branches with lingzhi fungus, diameter 14cm, four hairline cracks Provenance: UK Private Collection. The vendor's grandfather formed a large collection of several hundred pieces of Chinese porcelain and works of art in the 1920's. The majority of the pieces were brought mainly from specialist dealers and auctioneers in East Anglia and the South of England; thence by family descent. A Chinese porcelain bowl, 19th century, the interior with a plain turquoise ground, the exterior with a white ground decorated with figures on a pavilion, red seal mark to base, height 5.5cm, diameter 14.5cm. Condition report: Some tiny chips to the turquoise glaze inside the bowl and a residue near the top. Also rubbing to turquoise glaze. No apparent chips or cracks to bowl.

Condition report: One jardinière and once saucer each have cracks to the corners. Staining to the interiors.

Condition report: Celadon glazed bowl has no cracks or chips. Some small chips to rim of light brown bowl, a number of firing faults.
A Chinese caramel brown soapstone pebble seal modelled as a mountain carved with a landscape of pine trees and pavilions with two figures of Immortals meeting on a bridge, early 19th century. Wood stand and fitted Hung mu wood box, box size height 7cm, 14 x 9cm. Condition report: We can't identify any damage but it is stone and has fissures.

Condition report: Some damage to faces and other areas.
A Japanese bronze pear shaped two handled vase with waisted trumpet mouthed neck, the ovoid body decorated in relief with two birds in flight framed by two flowering plants, the foot with an added Chinese bronze mirror decorated a four character zhuanshu style commendation seal encircled on four sides with four Chinese characters reading Xuande nian zhi and framed by two guardians Chi-lin dragons, mid Meiji period, height 42cm, width 24cm.
A Chinese Canton bowl, 19th century, the panels with interior scenes of figures, others with birds, butterflies and foliage, height 9cm, diameter 20cm and three Chinese celadon plates, each with blue seal marks, diameter 20cm. Condition report: Fine hairline crack. Two small chips to base rim. Glaze rubbed in places. The three plates have some enamel missing.
TWO SIMILAR CHINESE PORCELAIN, BALUSTER SHAPED, LIDDED VASES in transitional Wucai style. Both decorated in enamel palette with military and court figures within stylised bands and floral and foliate borders. One vase (the smaller) has an underglaze blue incorrectly drawn Kangxi seal mark to the base, the larger vase unmarked. (Together with two hardwood stands). Approx. height 40cm and 42cm. (2) CONDITION REPORT: These are not a pair, painted in different styles and details but from similar influences. The smaller vase is much lighter and has fritting and losses to the glaze internally around the rim, the cover has a significant chip and assorted and various frits and glaze blemishes. The larger vase appearing in better condition and being more heavily potted, some wear and glaze blemishes. Both vases are in very dirty condition.
A Chinese carved jade figure of a crouching dog, 5.5cm long and a Chinese circular bowl with seal mark under Condition Report: Lot 281:Jade figure appears overall good, some naturally occurring fissures within the jade.Bowl has dirty and slightly rough interior where it has been used perhaps for water and plants. Some wear to gilt, no chips or cracks.
