A fine pair of Chinese porcelain republic period vases, flared rims to waisted necks, over ovoid bodies with layered black wave, ruyi head and pendant borders to underside of rims, shoulders and bases, finely painted polychrome decoration of female figures in leisurely pursuits - painting, reading and playing board games - under the shade of gnarled trunk pine tree, significant character marks to bodies and seal marks to bases, 19in. (48.3cm.) high. (2)* Condition: In fine condition, with no damage or restoration to either vase.
A large, good quality Chinese Canton style baluster vase, early 20th century, printed seal mark to base, flared and waisted neck with floral and foliate scroll decoration over a turquoise ground, the body finely enamelled with Oriental pheasants perched upon a blossoming prunus branch above flowering peonies issuing from rockwork, lappet petal border to base, painted calligraphy to reverse, 16½in. (41.8cm.) high, on carved hardwood stand. (2)* Condition: Star glaze crack to reverse just beneath left side of calligraphy. Does not show to interior. Decoration in very good condition. No other chips, cracks or repairs.
An extremely large Chinese porcelain famille verte censer, 19th century, with twin dragon handles, ruyi fungi and scroll decorated tripod feet and domed cover with Kylin finial, decorated in enamels with a lake and mountain landscape, above a lotus leaf border and below a floral and foliate band to the waisted neck, the cover with similar border below foliage and blooms, enamelled seal mark to base, 22in. (56cm.) high, stapled repairs.
A fine Chinese porcelain republic period vase, baluster form, with enamel decoration depicting a finely robed emperor with attendants, 15½in. (39.4cm.) high.* Condition: Large crack to body of vase - see photos. Two small glaze chips to rim. Base has been drilled for lamp conversion (unfortunately through the seal mark).
A Chinese export blue and white porcelain boat form spoon dish, Qianlong (1736-95) seal mark to base and of the period, decorated with a knarled pine, prunus and bamboo below a stylised cloud, the exterior with four bats (wufu), 5½in. (14cm.) long.* Condition: Shallow chip to outside of rim (8 x 6mm.). No other damage or restoration noted
Group of Chinese ceramics comprising: Famille Rose surprise cup, the exterior decorated with figures in a garden, the domed interior containing a standing figure of Shoulao, 6.25cm high, a pair of Famille Rose tea bowls and saucers, each piece with figural reserves, tea bowl decorated with a seascape with European galleons, 8cm diameter and two bowls, one having a purple speckled blue glaze, the other a plain blue glaze, each with red seal marks and measuring 12cm diameter Condition: Single tea bowl with internal rim decoration has two vertical hairlines running almost to the base, one of the pair of small tea bowls has vertical hairline approx 20mm, the novelty cup has stapled repair where a U shaped section approx half the height has been broken out and re-stuck with three staples, there is a further vertical hairline running almost the entire height and much scale and discolouration to the inside, one of the turquoise bowls has two vertical hairlines running from top rim almost to the base with a large internal flake to one of the hairlines approx 15mm x 10mm - **General condition consistent with age

(Approx. 10 3/4" x 18" & 11" x 18 1/2", overall: 17" x 25").
