A Chinese blue and white `Immortals' bowl, Qianlong, painted around the exterior with the eight Immortals holding their respective attributes, standing amongst cloud scrolls, the interior with a panel enclosing the three Star Gods below a pine tree, Qianlong blue seal mark, 15cm. wide. Provenance: Christie's London, 15th May, 2012, lot 413.
THE AUCTIONEERS NOW THINK THAT THIS DOUBLE SKIN BOWL IS JAPANESE A fine and heavy late-19th / early-20th century Chinese silver bowl; profusely decorated in high relief with chrysanthemum, wicker fences,trellis etc., above a slightly spreading circular foot, three character mark, seal mark and further seal mark below to underside, 19cm diameter, approx. 835g CONDITION REPORT: The double skin silver bowl is in fact Japanese, it is signed to the underside with characters. The bowl is in good general overall order and has been entered privately. There are no major problems, with no big dents, splits or old restoration noted. There is some scratching and discolouration to the inside of the bowl where items have been put inside it over the years. Otherwise the bowl appears in good general overall original condition with no problems noted.
A CHINESE PORCELAIN TEAPOT, circa 1900, with matched cover and with fitted wicker work container, the sides of the cylindrical body painted in famille rose enamels with a lady and boy in a garden terrace setting, and with a buddhistic lion in iron-red, the base with a seal mark, 5in diameter at base & 6.75in high overall.

CHINESE PORCELAIN FOOTED BOWL, overall decorated with peony and lotus heads amongst Classical scroll work, in overglazed iron red on a white ground with a white interior. Six character Qian Long underglaze seal mark to base. 16cm diameter.(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Rather grubby with glaze blemishes, particularly internally, foot rim appears slightly different colour in places.

The censer, 26cm wide, 20cm deep, 9cm high (without cover or base). Provenance - removed from a local country house CONDITION REPORT The top- small chip to one corner, larger chip to other corner with old gold lacquer restoration. The bottom- 3 corner chips all with old gold restoration. The wooden lid - chip and break to corner, chip to the other corner and other splits
A Chinese blue and white porcelain vase, Qianlong seal mark, the vase of archaic form applied with two lugs flanking a flared neck, externally decorated with stylised Greek key decoration, phoenix roundel's, spear head borders and stiff leaf details, 37cm CONDITION REPORT: Generally good. Some misfiring to the cobalt blue decoration. No obvious signs of cracks or restoration. Overall appearance is fresh. Slightly dirty to the interior. Light surface scratches.
A large Chinese porcelain winter scene vase, 20th century, the baluster shaped vase decorated with an extensive snow capped landscape of a village and mountains beyond all within elaborate iron red borders, signed and seal mark to underside, 62cm high CONDITION REPORT: Generally in good condition. No obvious signs of chips, cracks or restoration. Grubby interior. Signs of pitting and misfiring however nothing too noticeable. Surface scratching.
