A pair of Chinese turquoise ground famille rose bowls, late 19th century, painted in famille rose enamels with the Empress Dowager pattern, with a bird perched on a wisteria branch amid blossoming rose branches, the flowering wisteria extending over the rim into the interior, inscribed in iron red below the mouth of the rim with the characters Dayazhai, beside the Tian Di Yi Jia Chun seal mark, all on a pale turquoise ground, gilded rim and foot ring, the base with the iron red mark `Yong Qing Chang Chun`, 4.1in. - one a.f.
