A Chinese famille rose teapot and cover, or Saki pot, with floral spray and ribbon tied brush and sceptre decoration, bears four character mark within a square seal in oxide red to base, 7.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Has a couple of small chips to the edge of the spout, wear to the enamel and gilding and a chip to the knop on the lid. A collection of various carved ivory and bone items to include apple corer, counters, thimbles, seal, Chinese floral carved parasol handle, numbered counters, etc CONDITION REPORTS All pieces appear to be 19th Century - a couple perhaps early 20th Century. All items bear various small scratches, marks, scuffs, etc. Various general signs of wear and tear, chips, etc conducive with age and use.
Pair of early 20th century Chinese vases on triple figure supports, the bodies painted with fruit branches, radishes and carrots, gilt highlights, signed and seal mark, marks to base, 29.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: VASE 1:- On two of the boys (support feet) there are nibbles to the front of their shoes. Body appears in good condition. Some small gilded dots on neck band very rubbed or missing.VASE 2:- Large star crack to the body with one crack running from mid body to top of neck. Some small gilded dots on neck band very rubbed or missing. Sticky sellotape residue on the inside of neck.
Chinese early 20th century box of rectangular section with copper base, the lid with an inset porcelain panel depicting figures in a boat with a weeping willow, calligraphy and seal mark, 11.5cm x 7.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: The lot appears in mainly good original condition, the porcelain panel is loose inside the lid. There appears to be a small chip on the right hand edge c4mm x 2mm. there are some slight scratches to be surface. Edge rims and base are in generally good condition, there is wear to the base and some tiny pitted areas. There are small scratches to the sides. The interior enamel appears in good condition.
