Some pinhead firing faults. A small scratch to the outside blue glaze. Otherwise general wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for more detail.
PAIR OF CHINESE IMPERIAL SANG DE BOEUF DISHES - QIANLONG a pair of Qianlong mark and period (1735-1796) sang de boeuf footed dishes, with a dark red glaze stopping short of the rim and foot. Both with small chips and nibbles to the rims, both with Qianlong seal mark to base. 21cms diameter. (2)
A set of twelve Chinese porcelain zodiac seals, 20th century, of cuboid form, each decorated with scenes of an animal and cursive inscriptions, moulded with seal script seals, 5.5cm. (12)One has a small flat chip to the corner. The rest are in good condition with only negligible signs of age including a few tiny snamel flakes. Refer to images.

A set of eight 19th century Samson of Paris porcelain cabinet cups & saucers in a Chinese export famille rose armorial wares style, the cups decorated with lion and unicorn armorial within raised rocaille curves and sprigs, fuchsia pink crosshatch border above purple feathers and highlighted with gilt rims, the matching saucers with floral spray to the centre, pseudo-Chinese seal mark to undersides (factory mark for use on imitations of Chinese export porcelain), saucers, 4 3/8in. (11cm.) diameter, cups, 2in. (5.2cm.) high. (16) * Two cups with flea-bite nibble to inner upper rims, one with hairline crack to inner running from rim down towards base, 30mm, one saucer with tiny flea-bite nibble to rim, all pieces with little rubbing in area's to gilt rims etc, overall good and very pleasing to the eye.
A large Chinese export porcelain Canton famille rose punch bowl, worn four character seal mark to base, 19th century, painted with a continuous scene of an extensive lake landscape with pagodas and temples, a bridge and a masted European ship, below a border of foliage, flowers, bats and Shou symbols on an iron red and gilt seed ground, the interior painted in rouge-de-fer and gilt with butterflies, fruit and flowers, 15 ¾in. (40cm.) diameter, gilt wear. * There is a large chip to the footrim from manufacture which is beneath the glaze – this is not a later fault or restoration. Gilt wear to rim and some rubs to decoration to interior. A few minor losses to exterior enamel. There is also a strange flaw to the rim, which appears to be a manufacturing fault - a partially detached flake from the porcelain which has some small chips along the edge - please see the close-up photos of this fault. It does not appear to be a chip which has been re-attached, as there is no evidence of a join at the lower edge
Five Chinese porcelain famille rose bowls, early 20th century, comprising two enamelled with auspicious objects, printed iron red seal marks, the larger 2 ¼in. (5.75cm.) high; two enamelled with fruit trees above a lotus petal lower border, iron red seal marks; and one painted with a female deity amidst clouds, a four character mark to the opposing side, two with faults. (5) * Auspicious objects: One with indent flaw to rim, otherwise good. The other with small rim chip. - Trees: One with hairline to rim. The other good. - Deity: good condition, gilt wear to rim.
A pair of Chinese famille rose small dishes, Tongzhi (1862-74) seal marks and probably of the period, painted with a central pomegranate reserve within floral white and turquoise ground borders, the underside with three iron red bats, 4 1/8in. (10.5cm.) diameter, one broken with glued repair; together with a matched pair of similar dishes with printed seal marks, painted with a crane and butterflies within foliage and a keywork border, 4 1/8in. (10.5cm.) diameter; and a small famille rose dish with a central quatrefoil shou symbol reserve within borders of butterflies and shou symbols, Xianfeng four character mark and probably of the period, 4 3/8in. (11.1cm.) diameter. (5) * Pair pomegranate dishes: One broken and glued back together. Minor frits and tiny chips along breaks, plus a small under-rim chip. The other dishgood, with some gilt and Minor glaze wear. - Matched Pair crane dishes: One good, The other with small rim chip. - Xianfeng dish: several glaze chips to rim. otherwise good.
A closely matched pair of Chinese famille rose cockerel dishes, one with Xianfeng (1851-61) four character mark, the other with Guangxu (1875-1908) seal mark, both probably of the period, both finely painted in polychrome enamels with two cockerels amidst peony and prunus flowers, the outside and inside rim with a border of flowers and auspicious objects, 2 1/8in. (5.4cm.) high, 4 ¼in. (10.8cm.) diameter. (2) * Gilt wear to rims, Tiny glaze frit to rim on Xianfeng bowl. Otherwise good with no other faults.

One tiny firing crack evident to top edge, internally the bowl has a few marks from usage. The cover has two small chips to the rim and two slight cracks to the edge (see photos). While the piece is clearly marked with reign seal mark we are not giving it a date and allowing others to satisfy for themselves. Both lot 56 & 57 were checked with a recognised expert and it was suggested (based on images) that the porcelain was probably period but possibly from a minor popular kiln (Minyao).
