An unusual Chinese two-part miniature lead seal early 20th century, the tortoise form handle on a flared square plinth with calligraphy seal to the underside, the head and front of the tortoise sliding out to reveal a smaller nested duck form seal, 2.7cm. high overall. * This is believed to be have been made for a married couple, enabling both of them to sign documents when travelling.
