A massive Chinese baluster shaped patinated bronze Vase, the lip with a key fret border above two Phoenix in high relief and an open mouthed horned Dragon flying through stylized clouds, beneath a raised band engraved with scrolls are three cranes amongst foliage and pine trees, the Vase raised on spreading circular foot signed with a seal stamp to the underside, probably late 19th Century, 61cm high, approx. 10kg.

A pair of Republic period Chinese baluster vases, with applied bat handles to a turquoise ground and enamelled neck, each decorated with ladies of court playing music, gaming and reading on a yellow ground and a lower frieze and red seal marks to each base, 35cm high, presented on hardwood bases. A Chinese famille rose and calligraphic pea green ground porcelain vase, mark of Qianlong and probably of the period, the cylindrical body reserved with eight raised panels, alternately containing lines of black texts and flower paintings, reserved within a pea green ground filled with formal lotus flowers and tendrils, the texts written in four different scripts, comprising clerical, seal, regular and semi-cursive script, each with Emperors colophan in iron red, the flower panels filled with lotus, peony, prunus and chrysanthemum, all under a short trumpet neck, iron red seal mark of Qianlong to base, within a turquoise washed foot interior, height approx 40.3cm (riveted repair to rim). Note: style of this piece recalls a small group of vases bearing Qianlong`s own text, one example in the Percival David Collection.
A Chinese Dayazhai famille rose turquoise ground Dowager Empress Cixi porcelain saucer dish, Guangxu period, the interior enamelled with a yellow and black bird perched on a branch entwined with tendrils issuing purple wisteria, above pink peony, framing iron red Dayazhai three character mark and Tian Di Yi Jia Chun oval seal mark, iron red Yong Qing Chang Chun (Eternal Prosperity and Enduring Spring) four character mark to base, diameter approx 23.5cm (hairline crack to rim). Note: the mark Dayazhai (Studio of the Greater Odes) has been associated with the Dowager Empress Cixi, although no such hall has been identified a wooden framed plaque has been found in the Imperial Workshops, bearing characters Dayazhai and with one of two seals reading Tian Di Yi Jia Chun.
A pair of Chinese coral ground porcelain bowls, mark of Qianlong but probably late 19th Century, each with wax resist reserves of flowerheads on formal tendrils detailed in iron red, underglaze blue pseudo seal mark of Qianlong to bases, diameter approx 11cm (one with minor rim chip and hairline).
A pair of Chinese pea green ground famille rose enamelled vases, mark of Qianlong but late Qing dynasty, each finely painted with formal stylized lotus and scrolling tendrils beneath gilt shou characters, flanked by a pair of pierced iron red and gilt handles, iron red seal mark of Qianlong within a pale turquoise base interior, height approx 21cm (one badly damaged).
