Pr CARVED SHOUSHAN TIANHUANG STONE CHOP SEALS Pair of Chinese hand carved Shoushan Tianhuang stone chop seals. Each is carved and polished in cube form with rounded edges and having etched calligraphy to one side. Relief calligraphy seal marks to bottoms. Includes wooden two tone inlay fitted presentation box. Glowing orangish red hue to stones. Seals each measure approx. 1" cubed (2.5cm x 2.5cm x 2.5cm). Total Shoushan stone weight of 70 grams. Overall weight of 173 grams.

A fine Chinese censer, with a pierced associated cover, decorated all over with mille fleur decoration, with a seal in a line to the top rim, with pierced handles, and on three bulbous feet (one handle riveted, the cover associated), 36.5 cm high See front cover colour and other illustration Condition report Report by NG Believed the cover to be an association, as the decoration is different on a yellow ground. Light rubbing to the gilt around edge. Very slight chip too edge of rim and to underside of pierced decoration. From the seal mark at front, right handle with old rivet repair. Some slight rubbing to gilt decoration. Some firing faults in which there are black bubbles in the enamel colours. Chip to rear left foot under base but visible when stood. Other feet with smaller chips to each. Blue interior worn and grubby.
