(15cm.) high., *Condition: in excellent condition, with very light rubbing to calligraphy.,
A Chinese porcelain blue and white bowl, probably 19th century, with slightly everted rim and circular foot, painted with a band with four large flowerheads and scrollwork above faux-fluting, two concentric bands and a foliate sprig to interior, painted seal mark to base, 7½in. (19cm.) diameter; together with three Ming style blue and white tea bowls, stoutly potted, painted with crosses and flowers, the larger 3¼in. (8.25cm.) diameter, all with hairlines; and a Chinese export famille rose teapot, globular form with floral painted reserves on a marbled ground with enamelled pomegranates, with antique silver spout repair. (5), *Condition: - Bowl: Very good with no cracks, hairlines or chips. Minor scratching to interior., - Tea bowls: Two with several hairlines, one of which has a rim chip. The other with one hairline and several small chips from rim. Two have glaze discolouration around hairlines/glaze flaws., - Teapot: Two small chips and some glaze flaking around edge of cover. Small hole flaw to handle from the making. Spout is a 19th century repair - small dent and tiny split to spout.
Two Chinese porcelain famille rose dishes, the first circular, with iron red Daoguang six character mark (1821-50) and of the period, decorated with chrysanthemums and peonies, the central roundel decorated with pomegranate, 5 7/8in. (15cm.) diameter; the second with underglaze blue seal mark to base, decorated with a trio of bats above double roundels amidst floral decoration, the center with pomegranate, a double concentric line on upper face and reverse rim, another above foot to base, 5 7/8in. (15cm.) diameter. (2), *Condition: the shaped dish with slight rubbing/wear to central decoration, gilt rubbing to rim, the other good.
A Chinese carved ivory figure of a scholar, 19th / early 20th century, the bearded, seated figure in robes, holding a loosely furled scroll with calligraphy, incised seal mark to base, 6in. (15.25cm.) high., *Condition: Rich caramel colour, patination and gloss shine to ivory from handling on the back and sides of figure. Natural cracks throughout. No damage - chips or later cracks.
