Chinese porcelain polychrome squat baluster jar and cover, painted with processional figures and a butterfly, all beneath stylised multi-coloured clouds. 23cm to the top of the finial approx., on a scroll foot hardwood stand. Late Qing. Square iron red seal mark to the base. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Some wear to the gilding om the finial, very minor chips/frits to the rim at the top, otherwise appearing OK.

A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN BOWL, TONGZHI PERIOD. Decorated with two phoenix perched on rockwork with floral blooms and butterfly. Six character seal mark of Tongzhi and of the period (1861-75). Together with a carved and pierced wooden display stand. Bowl 11cm diam. Bowl with one faint 3cm hairline at the rim. No further signs of damage or repairs. The wooden stand in good order. Bowl and stand unmatched.

A finely detailed pair of Chinese Shiwan ceramic figures, depicting elderly scholars engaged in conversation. These expressive sculptures showcase traditional Shiwan (Foshan) craftsmanship, known for its highly detailed, lifelike figures and distinctive rich blue and earth-tone glazes.
