A SET OF THREE CHINESE PORCELAIN GRADUATED BOWLS, Republic period, each of footed square form richly decorated with flowers and insects on a turquoise ground comprising two large (18cm wide) examples and smaller (15.5cm) each with a rubber stamped seal mark in iron red, and a Chinese famille verte porcelain duck, 18cm long on a wooden stand. (4). Condition report One large example with several flakes of enamel missing, inside on rim and on outside wall. Duck- condition good.

Condition report In overall good condition. Some minor scratches, cracks and imperfections to the glaze.
A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'EIGHT AUSPICIOUS SYMBOLS' BOWL decorated internally with central 'prayer wheel' medallion within a border of sea-waves, externally with eight auspicious symbols over repeat lotus blossoms, the foot with a band of waves beneath lappets, Qianlong seal mark, 25.5cm wide x 11cm high. See illustration. Condition report Numerous small chips and fritting all around the rim. Two tiny flakes on foot rim. No cracks. General surface scratches/wear commensurate with age.

A pair of Chinese Republic Jiangxi Ciye Gongsi porcelain bowls, painted in iron red with roundel depicting a phoenix, with geometrical band in blue and pink to the shaped rim, decorated with two dragons chasing the pearl of wisdom amongst clouds, bearing six character mark and E. Owens Antiques of Liverpool wax seal to the base, diameter 16cm. CONDITION REPORT: There is a firing flaw to one of the bowls which feels like a chip and has been gilded, this is a flaw in production rather than damage. Some pitting to glaze and rubbing to gilding and decoration.

CONDITION REPORT: Appears good with no obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.
A Chinese carved ivory seal decorated with blossoming branches, signed to one face and bearing paper labels, height 6.25cm, a small carved pierced jade seal, height 4.5cm and a jade buckle, length 8cm (af) (3). A CHINESE DOUCAI 'CHRYSANTHEMUM' JAR PROBABLY GUANGXU Decorated with double chrysanthemum medallions, stylised lotus heads and scrolls between underglaze blue borders, a six character Qianlong seal mark to the base, 11.5cm. Cf. T M Elins, Imperial Porcelain from the Shanghai Museum, p.101, pl.70 for a similar jar from the Qianlong period.
