A Chinese blue and white brush washer, Chenghua seal mark (1465-1487) The two section Shishi form pot, decorated with blue enamels reserved against a white ground, the moulded face picked out in detailed enamels, 5cm high, 6cm long, six Character mark to interior. CONDITION REPORT: Small nibbles to the exterior rims of each section of the pot. Small crack to the lower section rim, approx 1cm in size. Extensive discolouration throughout. Scuffing/ wear to underside of base.
A Chinese teapot, Cantonese, decorated with floral sprays, metal handle, seal mark to base. Length 18 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Both the teapot and lid are in good condition with no damage, no repairs and no restoration. We can see no evidence of any hairline cracks and the only problem is minor rubbing to the gilding. The teapot will originally have had two wire bound handles, there is only one present.
A Chinese teapot, figural, with blue repeating decoration to base, square seal mark. Length 16 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The underside of the lid has a small firing fault and the lid itself is a little dirty. The main body of the teapot is in good condition with no damage, no repairs and no restoration. We can see no evidence of any hairline cracks or chips.
A late 19th century Chinese vase, squat form, principally blue and white, with six character mark and seal to base. Diameter approximately 10 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Very good condition with no damage, no repairs and no restoration. The only minor issue is a firing mark across the bottom of the vase which is visible both inside and outside the piece.
