A Chinese scroll painting depicting figures in a landscape and calligraphy, late Qing or early Republic period, the painting, ChangE BenYue, ink on silk, signed as "Longmian Ligonglin" by the artist with two seals, one collector's seal and another seal "Guilin shuhua", the calligraphy signed by the artist Song Botian with two seals, and another seal "Guangping moji", total size 862cm x 44cm CONDITION REPORT: Some stains to main painting, general fading and some vertical lines of brown discolouration. Water stain to text panel. The scroll itself is generally sound. No holes or tears. Provenance: This belonged to an English lady who lived in Hankow in the 1920s/1930s, her father was a tea taster there.

Chinese porcelain sensor and cover, lozenge-shape painted with four cartouche depicting flowers and trees with mythological birds in flight, iron red decoration with gilded highlights with a purple glazed finial in the form of a foo-dog, approx 13 x 17 cms, with green seal mark to base. Condition report: The shoulders of the sensor has been subject to restoration.
A pair of Chinese cylindrical vases, decorated with figures and fence with square seal mark to base. Height 28 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Both vases appear to be in good order. There are no chips and no cracks. We can see no evidence of any restoration. The gilding around the top rim is a little rubbed in places and the vases are dirty inside. But other than this the condition is very good.
A Chinese vase, decorated with figures in a garden and with seal mark to base, lip restored. Height 22.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The vase rim has been professionally restored. It has been overpainted and is a little yellowed. The enamel decoration is in generally good condition with only very minor paint losses. We can see no cracks and no evidence of any other restoration than to the top lip.
