The right column is followed by six smaller characters can be translated as ‘Year 1914 in the city of Xiamen’; the left column is followed by four smaller characters ‘Calligraphy by Yang Rixin’, and a square seal, framed and fixed with hanging brackets, each panel 116 x 21.5cm.
