A pair of 19th Century Chinese blue and white rice bowls with plain interiors decorated to the outside with various vases, raised on a circular foot, bears two character mark and remnants of wax seal to base, 12 cm diameter CONDITION REPORTS Both with wear and scuffs, and scratches to interior, some small frits and chips to foot rim, some firing and glazing blemishes, one with quite a few frits and roughness to top rim, but both generally appear to be sound.
19th Century Chinese Ducal large baluster vase of ancient bronze Hu form. The flared mouth over cylindrical neck decorated with alternating bands of trellis patterns over Ruyi heads, applied bamboo handles, the Hu form body with stylised lotus band entwined with Buddhist emblems, the waist with Ruyi band over broad design of floral subjects over lappet band. Qianlong seal mark to base, 59cm high
A nineteenth century Chinese bowl, cover and stand. Decorated in coloured enamels with the millefiori pattern, the cover with Imperial yellow ground interior and enamelled to the well of the bowl with a crane. Qianlong character marks to the bowl and cover, seal mark to the stand, stand 18cm diameter. Condition Report : Piece of the stand re glued. Hair crack to the rim of the bowl, cover in good condition.
Five small Chinese items comprising an overlay glass snuff bottle with Qianling seal, sang de beouf glazed porcelain snuff bottle, a carved hardstone twin handled vase, a pale jade ovoid dish and a carved nut teabowl with metal liner decorated with gilt Buddhistic roundels and precious objects. Porcelain bottle 7cm. Condition Report : Hardstone vase with a large rim chip. The other four pieces in good condition.
