A Chinese Porcelain Ovoid Vase and Cover, late 19th/early 20th century, painted in coloured enamels with a family of Lion dogs, a censor, and calligraphy to the reverse, printed seal mark, 32cm; together with a similar jar and cover, painted with figures in a garden setting (2)Both with firing imperfections, but otherwise OK.
Chinese Wang Bing Rong relief decorated baluster jar and cover, the turquoise blue ground decorated with applied bamboo, chrysanthemum and prunus blossom design, the finial of animal form, Wang Bing Rong seal mark to base, 31cm tall.Finial damage and detached from top with old glue otherwise fine. Good overall condition. Wear and tear commensurate with age and use.
A Chinese patinated bronze and hardwood covered censer, probably early 20th century, of rectangular form, with two hooped handles and taotie mask decoration on a keywork ground, raised on four lion mask supports, impressed seal mark to underside, the reticulated hardwood cover with cloud scroll carving and fo dog finial, 10½in. (26.7cm.) high. * Condition: Old chip to one foot. Crack to one end of hardwood cover and chip to corner of the top plinth on the cover, below the finial. Some corrosion to interior of censer.
A Chinese porcelain black ground large baluster vase, second half 20th century, painted in famille rose enamels with birds and insects amidst flowering aquatic plants, Qianlong seal mark to base but later, 24 ½in. (62.25cm.) high; together with a similar jar of ovoid form, painted with birds and butterflies amidst flowers in a rocky garden, 11 ½in. (29.2cm.) high, lacks cover. (2) * Condition: Jar lacks cover. No other faults.
A Chinese porcelain blue and white 'duck and lotus pond' hexagonal flower or bulb pot, probably late Qing Dynasty, Guangxu period (1875-1908), of slightly flared form with everted, flat-topped rim and six bracket feet, painted with pairs of ducks swimming amidst lotus, above a band of lappets, a floral ruyi border below the rim, the flattened rim with diaper band with six small floral reserves, the glazed base with pierced hole and remnant of a wax seal, 7¼in. (18.5cm.) high.* Provenance: Chinese Arts & Crafts (HK) ltd., 1997, with certificate. * Condition: In good condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration.
A Chinese porcelain blue and white covered jar, Qianlong seal mark but later, probably 20th century, ovoid form with shallow cup form cover, painted with alternate reserves of a bird and peonies on rockwork and a lake landscape, between trefoil pendant bands to the shoulder and base,, the cover with a seated fisherman, 7 7/8in. (20cm.) high. * Condition: In good condition with no faults.
A fine 18th century Chinese cloisonne enamel and gilt bronze box, possibly Imperial, of rounded, rectangular form, the snugly fitting cover decorated with lotus flower sprays and scrolling flowers and foliage, on a turquoise ground, the inside of the lid and the base in gilt bronze, 4¼ x 2 7/8in. (10.8 x 7.3cm.), 2in. (5cm.) high. * Condition: In good condition overall - the only damage to the enamel is to the very lower edge of one corner of the lid, where there are a few tiny flakes missing. The gilt has some light scratching and light wear from the removal of the lid from the base. There are also a few small spots of verdigris type tarnish to the surface of the gilt bronze to both the base and inside of the lid. The box has been incredibly skillfully constructed, with the lid fitting exceptionally snugly, with a near airtight seal.
A pair of Chinese carved hardwood figures of immortals, probably late 19th / early 20th century, the mirrored pair of bearded figures each holding a segmented staff and a seal, inlaid in silver wire with ruyi heads and floral motifs, with glass eyes, on rockwork style bases, 16in. (40.6cm.) high. (2) * Condition: Fading to the polish to the back of both figures. One figure has a shrinkage crack to one side of the base. A few old, small chips to the edges of the carvings, but overall good.
A Chinese inlaid black lacquer brush pot, probably late 19th or early 20th century, inlaid and applied around exterior with various hardstones and mother-of-pearl, depicting a hunting scene amongst pine trees and rocky outcrops, Chinese characters below the rim, red four character seal mark to base, 6 1/8in. (15.6cm.) diameter, 6½in. (16.5cm.) high. * Condition: Small chip to base rim and surface wear to underside. Surface of lacquer dulled and with light scratches. Small patch of possible old glue residue just below rim. No losses or restorations visible to inlays. Good overall.

(31.75cm.) high; a squat ovoid painted in famille rose enamels with figures outside a palace in a mountaious landscape, printed seal mark to base, 8in. (20.25cm.) high, cracked; three graduated blue and white ginger jars with prunus decoration, the largest 5in. (12.7cm.) high, no covers; and three ginger jars in famille rose and famille verte enamels, two with covers, plus a loose cover. (9) * Condition: All in good condition, with no faults, apart from the squat ovoid jar, which has a 3in. hairline from the rim; and the ginger jar with famille rose decoration of a lady with fan and two boys in a garden, which has a small chip to the rim.

A CHINESE RED OVERLAY GLASS YANGZHOU SCHOOL SNUFF BOTTLEDATED 1822Attributed to Li Junting, with an ovoid milky-white ground overlaid with red with two boys stirring a pot and with an inscription on the shoulder giving the cyclical date renwu, the reverse with a boy kneeling beside a water buffalo and with the seal zhengke (good luck), 5.4cm.Provenance: an English private collection, formerly from the collection of Margaret Polak, California, purchased from Robert Kleiner & Co. Ltd., 2nd July 2007, a copy of the invoice is available.Dated Yangzhou bottles are rare but have been recorded with dates between 1819-22.

A RARE CHINESE BROWN OVERLAY GLASS YANGZHOU SCHOOL SNUFF BOTTLE BY WANG SUC.1820-40The rectangular milky-white body decorated with a cat on a pierced rock looking up at a butterfly, the reverse with foliage, flowers and rockwork, the shoulder signed Xiaomei, 6.2cm.Provenance: an English private collection, purchased from Robert Kleiner & Co. Ltd., 30th June 2010, a copy of the invoice is available.Very few Yangzhou bottles are signed by the artist. Here, the seal Xiaomei, (little prunus) was used by the celebrated Yangzhou painter Wang Su (1794 - 1877). A cat and a butterfly signify the wish that the recipient lives to be 70 or 80.
