AN 18TH CENTURY CHINESE MING STYLE QIANLONG MARK & PERIOD BLUE & WHITE PORCELAIN VASE, the sloping sides painted with plantain and bamboo growing beside rockwork in a fenced garden setting, beneath a ruyi border to the rim, the base with a Qianlong seal mark in underglaze-blue, 7.1in wide at widest point & 6.75in high.
GRADUATED SET OF FOUR CHINESE PORCELAIN FLARED, CIRCULAR BOWLS, all decorated in Famille Rose enamels with figures of immortal deities, interspersed with character marks, the base of the largest bowl having six character red seal mark for Emperor Daoguang. The largest: 10.5cm diameter x 6cm high approx. (4)(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Smallest bowl has been badly broken and repaired twice, the third smallest has a rim chip, the second largest is perfect, and the largest is appearing perfect bar tiny nick to rim.
CHINESE ROCK CRYSTAL CARVING OF A RECUMBENT HORSE looking back over its shoulder, 8cm long, together with an ivory mounted seal set with a Chinese ivory ball, deeply carved and incised with designs of the Chinese Zodiac. The seal attached thereto having the inscription: 'To my dearest Annabelle, my eternal gratitude, Sir Francis'. 'Annabelle Leighton, much loved secretary to Sir Francis May, Governor of Hong Kong, wishing you a happy retirement, September 24th, 1914.' 7.5cm high. (2)(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: The rock crystal horse is cracked through and has some internal flaws as well, the zodiac seal appears good overall.
A pair of Georgian decanters, mallet form, with shaped stoppers and clear bands above four ring necks and with part faceted and fluted bodies. Height 28 cm A pair of monochrome Chinese vases, Republic period, decorated with loadies in a fenced garden, heightened with gilding, pseudo Qianlong seal mark. Height 25 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Both stoppers have very small chips to the top of the knop, one has a further small chip to the left shoulder and to the right corner of the band. The other knop has a further chip to the lower left section of the central band and a tiny grazed chip to the lower right section of the central band. One decanter has some very, very light scratch marks to the outer rim of the neck but these are only viewable through catching them at the right angle in the light through a jeweller's loop or feeling them with a fingernail. There is also very, very small dark grazing to the underside of the rim on the opposing side. The joins to each band can be clearly seen, and the body and base appear to remain free of any chips, cracks or flaws. The other decanter has a minute rim chip which can be felt with a fingernail. The rings joins can be clearly seen on each and the main body and base appear to be free of any obvious faults, cracks or flaws.
A pair of monochrome Chinese vases, Republic period, decorated with ladies in a fenced garden, heightened with gilding, pseudo Qianlong seal mark. Height 25 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Both vases are hand painted. Both appear to be in good order with no obvious visible faults. There is very very minor rubbing to the gilding on the lion mask handles.

A Chinese octagonal bowl raised on a spreading foot. With turquoise ground interior, enamelled with fruiting peach trees, shou characters, fruit bats and a band of wave scrolls to the foot. Red printed honorific Tongzhi seal mark over a turquoise ground, 18.25cm wide. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Good condition. No chips, cracks or repair.
A Chinese Republic period small jar painted in famille vert enamels with peonies and a bird, along with three 19th century famille vert saucers, two painted with Shou characters and having seal marks in underglaze blue.
