an outstanding, antique, Chinese or Japanese, antler or bone seal, depicting a young boy and the Todd of fortune. 19th cent. This beautifully carved group of a Todd and a young boy and lotus buds is captivating in its' details. This exquisite and extremely fine item is a rare of Chinese art and craftsmanship, where size is the issue . The antler or bone seal is depicting on one side a scholar and a boy with a tea kettle under a willow tree by the river with mountains, waterfall , trees and birds in the background. A small poem on the left hand side. The top part depicting 2 scholars standing on a bridge on the river between a gorge with mountains, willow trees and waterfall, small poem on right hand side. Other side depicting an outstanding 1000 miniature characters. The crystal box hand carved with a top inscription, relating it to the Qianlong emperor (18th cent.) . The bottom part of the box has a Qianlong reign mark carved. Size of antler seal 4x2.5 cm, size of box 2.5x3.2x5.5 cm

An outstanding, antique, Chinese painted fan, depicting landscape and fishes. Probably republic period or earlier. This wonderful painted fan is depicting on the one side a sage, painted, probably, by Guan De on the one side. The other side depicting sweaming fishes, is by Cheng Zhong Yi. The other side depicting bamboo and trees, probably by Zhu Yuan Shu. The borders of the fan made from bamboo, delicately curved, depicting crabs on one side, shrimps on the other. Both bamboo penals are signed. An old Chinese wax seal from the late 18th or early 19th, indicating an approved antique. On one side the painting at the center has a tear. size 31x43 cm

Depicting a white eagle or falcon, attributed to Giuseppe Castiglione, an Italian painter, who served as a royal painter at the court of the 3 Qing dyn. emperors. This is an old painting but, probably, a much later creation period. The eagle is standing on a branch of a pine tree above a gorge. Well painted with fine details. Qing Dynasty Cinnabar Lacquered Antique Imperial Chinese Quadrafoil form Shaped Dish of extremely fine quality. Depicting a 5 clawed dragon chasing the flaming pearl to the centre with several lesser dragons to the perimeter. The border carved with an intricate interlaced pattern, the verso with a silvered metal Qinlong seal mark set into the body with finely carved Chinese symbols around the mark. Measuring 14.5 inches in diameter.
